HOW TO KEEP GRASS STRAWS?
When getting them, please put them into the refrigerator. They can stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. To keep them for longer, boil the straws with a bit of salt, then dry and keep at the cool and dry place.
CAN GRASS STRAWS BE REUSED?
These straws are intended for single-use at F&B. For individuals, we encourage you to reuse them. Rinse, dab with a clean towel or leave out to dry slightly and put them back in the fridge. We believe that you would not be willing to throw these straws away after just one single use.
SHOULD I PUT THE GRASS STRAWS INTO COMPOST BINS?
Grass straws decompose naturally. Please put them into compost or organic waste bins. Mixing up organic and non-organic waste makes it harder for organic matters to decompose, and increases the volume of trash at landfills.
ARE THESE GRASS STRAWS EDIBLE?
You can try. Grass straws are mildly sweet and rich in fibers. Chewing them after eating helps clean your teeth and gum.
DO THE STRAWS CONTAIN PRESERVATIVES?
The grass grows naturally, and the straws are not treated with any chemical products or preservatives. It is advisable to rinse or soak the straws in salt water, or boil lightly before using.
DOES IT AFFECT THE FLAVOR OF THE DRINKS?
Absolutely not. Grass straws have a very mild and pleasant natural fragrance.

HOW TO CLEAN BAMBOO STRAWS?
Cleaning your bamboo straw is incredibly easy and can be done in several ways. All you need to do to clean your bamboo straw is either:
– Hand-wash outside the bamboo stalk with warm water.
– Put it in the dishwasher or use the supplied cleaning brush to clean inside the bamboo stalk.
– Boil in water during 10 minutes and let them dry.
– Note: To disinfect after use, boil with vinegar and water (ratio: 1 of vinegar and 20 of water) for 10 minutes once a month to keep your straws clean.

Of course! Moreover, you don’t need special composting equipment to cleanly dispose of them either. Paper straws maybe decompose in 30-60 days, but flour straws are virtually overnight and are completely edible.
ARE THEY EDIBLE?
Because flour straws only have some organic ingredients – Rice flour, Tapioca starch, vegetable color and water – they are completely safe for human and animal consumption if accidentally (or purposefully) consumed.
DOES IT AFFECT THE FLAVOR OF THE DRINKS?
Absolutely not. Flour straws have a special technique production not to affect to your drinks. According to the infamous BBC news story itself, “Customers told us it doesn’t affect the flavour of the drink”.

Unlike paper straws that tend to last 15 minutes in real conditions, flour straws can hold their strength and form for over an hour in a normal or cold beverage.
